This cabinet was my final piece from my training with Jonathan Markovitz. The design was influenced by my research into the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements. The elegant cutaways in the doors and drawer front give an unusual and attractive effect, as well as acting as handles.

It features a combination of solid and hand-veneered components, and contains a large dovetailed drawer and adjustable shelf. Most of the cabinet is in European cherry, and the drawer is made in European oak. It was completed with a traditional natural oil and wax finish, giving it a beautiful lustre.

A commission of a similar piece would start from £2500, depending on preferred size and choice of wood.
